Young Democrats of America Executive Director Endorses Marriage Equality Plank In 2012 Party Platform

“As Democrats, we respect people for who they are. We believe that every American should have the same rights.

That is why I am calling on the Democratic Party to include Marriage Equality for every American to the party platform.

One of the great strengths of our generation is the ability to judge people for who they are, not who they love. We judge people based on who they are, and not who they love. We look forward to having a conversation about how our Party reflects these values.

I signed the Freedom to Marry Pledge for the Democratic Party to include Marriage for All Families into the Platform. I hope you will too.

Ask Democrats to say ‘I Do’ and support Marriage equality!
